Last three LS baskets, wide wide open 3, big man lay up, wide open three.
Man how our D has deteriorated. No desperation.

The problem with this team all year defensivel is they are constantly leave the one they are guarding to double team that leaves their man wide open or creates eventually a size mismatch.

NOTHING new in Schmidt game plan--just feed Venning. Barry just passed up 3 shots to feed Chad, with two guys on him, and quickly tied up at traveled. Ya know, opposing coaches and teams aren't stupid -- they watch video and look for situations they can exploit. When the ball goes high post to Venning, LaSalle descends on him like a ravenous school of piranha. Result? Turnover. Schmidt has shoved this down our throats all season ad nauseum. You think HE would learn that the play has FAILED beginning to soon finish!

i am unimpressed with the bonnies defense I think we are playing solid defense. Certainly the intensity is there. We have shut down the two guards so far. You can't predict that Jocius and Vahlberg would each hit a three or we would be up more. What I like is 12 offensive rebounds. We had 5 the entire game vs St Louis. For the second half I would love to see Barry on Shepherd.

Assa has taken only one shot--and made that 3. Flowers 1 for 6.

The older, bald ref is not very good at his job.

missed chance to blow it open...Flowers can't hit and the usual standing around when Venning got ball, not even an attempt at a cut
but still up

Why do these BONA guards struggle so to make their short jump shots?

I know I’m in the minority and I know it’s extremely convenient for me to say this right now — but Banks should be playing more than Flowers. When Flowers isn’t hitting, he just doesn’t offer much. You’ll get a little more hustle and defensive work from Banks. Just ride him from here today. Maybe flowers is back on tomorrow
