Wow!! Better to be lucky than good. And some really questionable coaching moves by Schmidt down the stretch. Venning should not have been on the court. And he forgot about Pride, who's an 84% free throw shooter.

Stones, folks. Our Guys had gumption to carry on for at least another game and maybe reach 20.
Very balanced attack today. Mika 15, Chuck 13, Chad 12, Noah and CB3 11 each in reserve, Moses 10.
They found a way. Survive and advance. Loyola waiting in the wings tomorrow.

Played a good first half, looked lost half the time in the second half. Assa is a real weak spot on the glass, never boxes out. Several of the LaSalle second chance points came from guys coming in right around Assa. We also need to shoot better. Missing wide open 3s and chippies. |

Yes. We do have to play better. Defensively we gave up too many open looks. This team is giving Schmidt nightmares. Glad we won. Venning will play better. He seemed like he was pressing.
