What is Schmidt supposed to do? He can’t play everybody. I think Evans got a fair amount of playing time this season given his limited offense and all the other options we had. He would have been a shoe in to start next year. Seems like leaving for him is more about something else than PT. Luc on the other had it makes for him to leave. He had his minuets slashed this year. Going from being a starter to glued to the bench has to be difficult. But Kyrell just honestly hasn’t been good enough to play major mins at this level.

Where will Barry go. His scoring stats don't impress, so when teams look at him, especially higher level teams, he probably gets kicked aside. Lower level teams may like him, but my guess is he sticks in the A10, being that they have seen what he brings, my guess George Mason. This actually sounds plausible for Barry. He goes to GM and who is there to keep developing him, Steve Curran. He is also much closer to home. |

If you are following the full portal news today, at least 500 already in it and--more so than in previous years a vast number hoping to go to their 3rd school, or even 4th. Makes you wonder if Barry will find too much competition for services and decide to "come back." Amazing how many have already declared and many of them with either fine numbers or they were top 75 prospects who didn't get a chance to do a lot as frosh or sophs and now moving on. We'll see what the final numbers look like but appears will set record in the portal.

Arturo Dean would fill our void at PG. Led the country in steals. Exciting player. Putnam product and we were in the running for him before he chose FIU.

ARTURO is a quick exciting guard whos reminds me of Marques with all his steals 3.1 a game. Set a record with 9 in a half!
FIU struggled at 11-22 & 5-11 conf.
Arturo 13 ppg (#1 on team), 40% FGs, 30% TREYS, 64% FTs. Not a strong shooter.
His 1.08 A/TO Ratio doesn't cut as a PG.
