Fair questions to ask. There’s a lot more paperwork with international players. I’m thinking those are still processing and pending which is why you won’t see anything official from the school website until they are filed |

I have to ask what I hope is a really stupid question that others may be hinting at - are we sure this isn’t an elaborate hoax? I realize just about everything about the NCAA has changed, but how is someone who has played two years of professional basketball eligible to start playing college hoops? I don’t claim to be aware of every recent rule change, but I haven’t heard of a change that would allow this. For decades, if a kid won $10 at a church fair in a tiddlywinks game, the NCAA would rule him ineligible to play anything in college since he wasn’t an amateur athlete anymore. This has changed to allow someone who has earned a living playing basketball for two years to play college hoops?
And the guy’s last name - a clue to what’s going on? I know there’s the photo in the original post, but photoshop? From the French team roster, it sure appears the guy’s a player but might someone have noted him and figured he’d be the perfect subject of a joke on some crazy college hoops fans? And who’s crazier than Bona fans?
If it is a hoax, I fell hook, line, etc., along with others and the OTH. Part of me wants to believe that if it is a joke, someone official with the school would have exposed it by now, particularly once the OTH jumped on the story. So I really hope I am being overly suspicious, but I gotta wonder and ask.

I get the fact that we want to put the best squad on the court as possible but there is only one ball and 13 guys who were recruited - not sure how this plays out but someone is going to be really angry about being recruited over and not given a chance. I know life is tough but in the old days Schmidt would have his 7 guys and everyone knew where they stood, today 🤷🏻♂️
