Three times into Noel in the first four minutes, a slam and two made free throws. that's one part of the plan second half.
Is anyone else enjoying the visiting Mansfield color announcer? He's pleasant and insightful, and very evenhanded.

Bonas D picking up in the second half, esp. Bowen. Bowen ends up crashing to the floor a lot on his drives to the rim. I hope he stays healthy this year. Slightly improving free throw percentage.
Stansbury is A-10 caliber IMO.

He's pleasant and inciteful, and very evenhanded. He's Freddy Coleman, long time radio personality who hosts a national talk show on ESPN. He's a Mansfield alum who did his show from the RC today. |

I am going to say this before DdMuggs, but with Bowen at this high post position, I am waiting for the “Adaway” lob to Moore!! It is there.

Not our best performance. A step backward from the last few games. Mansfield’s zone is not great but it slows our offense to a crawl. Settling for outside shots. Noel is the forgotten man. No effort to get him the ball.

We are going to see A TON of zone defense this year when we start getting into competitive games unless we can figure this out soon.

Yeay! Balonga gets first basket on a reverse layin. Agree it would be nice if they ran a play for him to help him get unstuck. Surprised Edwards not getting more time off his first half. Maybe Schmidt holding that end of the half bucket against him. Glad to see Rose on the floor. Kaba a redshirt?

Rose with a 2 on short jumper, then a 3, and a pass for a bucket, all within two minutes. Maybe he is not showing enough in practice but looked great in game (finally given a chance)....
