Why can't it be drummed into the players' heads that a 10-to-15 ft jumper is a heck of a lot more efficient than jacking up 3-balls especially late in the shot clock.
Take an open trey when it's there, but do not keep jacking them up if they aren't falling. There must be gaps in zones where guys can get decent looks off screens from closer range.
If you live by the 3, eventually you die by the 3.
