Damn! Well I guess we'll just have to go with plan T, Amadou Traore, 6'7" 250 out of Brooklyn Collegiate/Chipola CC/Chicago State he's a very athletic PF, who might fit in well in a limited role:).
That taps me out, Elijah Strong, Buru Naivalurua, KJ Debrick, Zane Doughty and Tim Dagler, although I guess we formally have not heard a decision from Tim. I thought this was our year to get a legit PF, maybe it doesn't fit the four guard (counting Yann as a guard) system that we like to run.
Hope springs eternal.
Conjuring up some Charles Pride karma.

MNBONNIE....Love your commitment to Amadou Traore year in year out ....That dude takes up space....I can't ever remember Mark running a kid built like that (maybe simmons/D. Cook but not quite same build?) ...He reminds me of St Louis'/Coach Ford's guy Hasahn French who almost had same build 6'7" 245...Linebackers playing the 4 can bully in the paint and clean glass...However it has not been in our DNA over the years to play Linebackers and Fullbacks at the 4. And not for nothing Amadou has got to be 26 years old by now and still has not hooked on a D1 roster ...something does not line up .... Let's go CHARLES PRIDE

For many years we have seen players signed that few had a clue on.

Just a point of information, I saw where 6’8” ‘23 Putnam science small forward, Tarique Foster has asked for his release from VCU. If was noted that we had offered Tarique, as had a number of mid majors and p6 schools.

South Kent PG 6-3 ISAIAH WATTS.

For all the pessimism about NIL and its impact on recruiting, and the fairly regular complaints that we won’t be able to compete for top recruits, note the signing of Charley Pride, who J.P. In an article in the 5/3 OTH describes as one of the most sought-after recruits available in the portal. His signing shows we can compete against P6 programs and we can and should look forward to continued success. Pride is an accomplished player who could have gone just about anywhere and found the Bonnies to be the right fit. Others are out there. Have faith in the staff’s ability to find and recruit them. The sky is not falling.

Pride is a Bonnie for one year. You can't build a program that way. You're right, the sky is not falling. . .it HAS fallen.

Pride is a Bonnie for one year. You can't build a program that way. You're right, the sky is not falling. . .it HAS fallen. You recruit within the system provided. Yes, it sucks that the NCAA is becoming the minor leagues for the NFL and NBA, but it is the system in place. You can bitch about it all you want, or you can be happy that our staff is working their way through that system to land some good guys. You don’t have to like it, but you have to deal with it until changes are made, if they are made. Complaining does no one any good, including you.

You have to take what you get b/c of NIL> ONE year or 4 years does not matter. Staff could recruit an amazing Freshman and that Freshman could hit the portal after one year.... Is what it is.
