The Chef Award- named for former forward Tshiefu Ngalakulondi, this award is given annually to the player whom the BandWagon decides they will obsess over a fear of losing. This fear, is based on little to no concrete, in-game evidence that the team and program are sacrificing their future through the refusal to play him. This of course, in consideration with the fact there have been 0 players to date under Schmidt's tenure who, after failing to crack the rotation at SBU, went on to do well at an equal or higher level of play.
There is an early front runner for this award after just one game!

Vasquez is a starter for a very good UAB team, he put up 29 points in the American conference title game last year. just 2 guys off the top of my head

That's a nice game for Barry. Bryant could be undefeated when they come to the RC in a few weeks. We could be too, what a game that would be if so

Cal State-Northridge goes up to upcoming BONA opponent LeMoyne and wins by 22 just after LeMoyne loses close to Syracuse.

I took a look at the Northridge Lemoyne box score and they put up 48 points in the first half and 49 points in the second half, they shot eight for 18 from three and I can’t recall their overall percentage from the floor, but I want to say it was 55% They won the rebounding. Their file shooting was pretty damn good, so that just goes to show that the Bonnies played pretty well or maybe it was Northridge getting their legs underneath them. I’m going with the fact that the Bonnies played pretty decent defense for 35 minutes. I also watched a little bit of the Arizona Canisius game And that was hard to gauge Arizona’s got 27 footers and I can’t recall the tallest player on Canisius I think they ended up scoring the griffins. I wanna say 60 points maybe 60+ and I think Arizona put up I think 90 or maybe more so it’ll be real interesting to see what game two versus the griffins look like and see if we can continue to play that really good defense.

Wish barry would have stayed However, Dean college is Div 3. Also, being undefeated 4-5 games into the season is great but It's not that big of a deal a half a month into the season.

Success of Lemoyne against Syracuse is a great example of the danger of playing a game that is a highlight for an opponent. Second season in D-1, I'm sure LeMoyne had this game circled, especially since their school is from Syracuse. In 2009 as a D-2 school LeMoyne upset Syracuse. Local rivalry very well could be a reason for Bonnies struggle with Canisius and Niagara,

Boston College plays VCU tonight! 6:00PM CBSSN. www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/player/_/id/4711312/chad-venningI would have liked to see Barry stay. One could see his offensive game emerging (especially last year late season -- he went 3-4 from 3 in the last 4 games). Bryant is now the beneficiary. www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/player/_/id/5105987/barry-evans
